Gone, But Not Forgotten
Jasper left us with an enormous hole in our hearts. He was Jan’s dog of a lifetime. Sadly he died Christmas 2019. He lives on in his children and grandchildren.

We have had a few good years in the show ring, albeit patchy because of Covid.
Scarlett won her Veteran Warrant in style to add to her Show Certificate of Merit. She also gained her stud book number. She has clocked up many best veterans and notably two at the grand age of 10. She is an amazing girl who is a natural show dog and has taken Jasper’s place on the settee.
Pearl amazed us by winning a res. CC at Richmond in 2021
She has always been difficult to handle, but is a fabulous girl when she is behaving. She also was reserve best in show at our Isle Of Wight Open show. We shall continue to take her out and hope she behaves.
The most amazing bit of news was her fabulous litter of 10 puppies by Chase …Pytchley Chasing The Dream For Hookwood.
The extreme heat made it hard work, but all 10 are in amazing homes, and 3 are waiting to put on their show attire and do us proud. These are Clamerkin Jubilee Fly Past (Arthur) who is now with Connie Hazeltine, Clamerkin Jubilee Surprise (Bobby) who is with Sue Welch, and Clamerkin Jubilee Jewel (Margo) who is with Sami Bellamy, and has already won well in puppy classes, locally. Fly Past has already won 2 BPIB at Championship shows, and at Boston he was 3rd in the puppy group at only 7 months. Bobby has won a class already at LKA.
Arrival of Mikette – How Far I’ll Go To Clamerkin
Lyra, our first Lagotto Romagnolo. We are delighted to bring this lovely girl into our kennel. She made a good start in 2021 with some good placings at Championship shows. This year she has stayed at home while we have been with Pearl on maternal duties, but she surprised us all by winning reserve best in show at our Isle of Wight show from an excellent line up of Gundogs. She is now showing and behaving well, so will be out more in 2023 and possibly will be having a litter.
